Study of Bison antiquus

I did this study at the Utah Museum of Natural History. This is a watercolor sketch of the extinct, giant, Bison antiquus that roamed North America during the last ice age. For this painting I really enjoyed imbuing subtle color and texture into the bones using watercolor.
